FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Rogate Sunflowers is open during August.

  • Entry to this event is FREE

  • Because we are a Sunflower Field, outdoor and waterproof footwear clothing are a good idea unless of course, we have been blessed with a warm August.

  • Parking is free and you will be guided, please be mindful and keep your speed at a minimum.

    Vehicles and belongings are left at the owners’ risk. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles.

    There is disabled parking in the front row of the carpark.

  • Our Sunflower field will be open in all weather but please check our website, Instagram account or Facebook Page on the morning of the event just in case there has been an extreme storm which has meant, for safety reasons, we cannot open.

  • For hygiene and safety reasons only registered guide dogs can be allowed on site.

  • We have a wide and varied selection of caterers offering both hot and cold meals and snacks for when you’re feeling a bit peckish as well as plenty of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and delicious cakes. If the weather is good, they’ll even be ice creams on offer.

  • Yes, you can bring your own picnic and there are picnic areas around the site.

    We also would love you to support our delicious range of caterers offering hot and cold meals and drinks, snacks both sweet and savoury. We cater for most dietary requirements.

  • Loos, disabled loos and baby changing facilities are sited in two areas.

  • There is First Aid sited by the ticket entrance of the event.

  • You can pay by cash or card for all around the site.

  • You are responsible for your own children whilst on the site. But we do have a robust system in place should a child wander from view.

    As soon as you lose a child, walk up to the entrance and notify a member of staff

    Then the lost child process will go into action, the main gate will be closed until the child is found

  • Wheelchair users are very welcome however we are a working farm so it can get a little muddy. We do use straw and wood chip to soak up mud and water but there aren’t any concrete paths. Wheelchair users do come and they generally manage but please be aware that it may be more difficult in inclement weather.

  • The Sunflower Event is a NO SMOKING site.
